Job Summary

The Technical Repair Manager is responsible for overseeing daily repair operations, leading a team of technicians, and ensuring that all products meet quality and performance standards. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership and process improvement to drive efficiency, reliability, and continuous improvement within the repair function. The role also serves as a key liaison with the executive team, providing updates on performance, challenges, and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead repair technicians on a daily basis
  • Assign workloads and manage team schedules to meet production demands
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate technician performance
  • Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting guidance
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols
  • Develop, implement, and improve repair and testing procedures
  • Identify recurring issues and implement long-term corrective actions
  • Improve efficiency to meet production goals
  • Ensure repaired and tested products meet quality standards
  • Handle escalated complaints and complex technical issues
  • Oversee Cold Storage area management
  • Ensure QA Bay system PMs are completed on time
  • Maintain documentation for audits and compliance
  • Manage CT/MR R&D pipeline list and collaborate on projects
  • Maintain production output aligned with FG inventory requirements
  • Interface with executive leadership to report on operational performance, risks, and improvement initiatives
