About The Position
Job Description & Requirements
Cardiovascular Non-Invasive Technologist - Echo Sonographer - (Cardiac - Echo - Sonography - Sono)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 10 D Pay Rate: $2214.34 - $2426.35
Sono- Echo Tech needed, will cover all hospital units. Sonographer should have a minimum of 5 years echo experience and a minimum of 2 years acute inpatient echo experience. RDCS or RCS and BLS-AHA required. Sonographer will perform 6-7 echos per day. Experience with Stress Echos, TEE and providing comprehensive preliminary report for all transthoracic ehos is preferred. Equipment: Philips Epiq CVX, Philips Epiq 7c. EMR: Epic, Tomtec. Dress Code: hospital provided scrubs.
Required Qualifications
Sonographer, Echo
Experience: 2 years
Certifications(At least one of the following): RDCS-AE-American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography(Copy needed), RCS-Cardiovascular Credentialing International(Copy needed)
Weekends: Rotating days shifts to include weekends
On Call: Weeknight call 5:00 pm to 6:30 am 2-3 nights per month
Scrub Colors: dress code: hospital provided scrubs
SSN Required
DOB Required
Work History: Should not be more than 90 days of gap in last 1 year
References: 1 Reference in entire work history
BLS-AHA
Sonographer should have a minimum of 5 years echo experience and a minimum of 2 years acute inpatient echo experience
Knowledge of standard ASE protocols, guidelines and normal ranges
Able to perform 3D and strain
Preferred Qualifications
Stress Echo, TEE
Experience providing a comprehensive preliminary report for all transthoracic echos
