The position is represented by a labor union. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 1 pm (2nd shift), 8 to 10 hours shift, 40 to 50 hours weekly. Branch location: 10001 No Kerby Portland, OR 97217. May involve working with forklift and/or pallet jacks. CDL A license will be required to be acquired through the company. Active and valid regular driver license needed. Responsibilities include participating in daily warehouse activities such as truck unloading, putting away, picking, truck loading, stock counting, processing orders, accepting incoming shipments, and overseeing general warehouse organization. Ensure compliance with procedures and conduct regular safety checks on warehouse equipment. Accurately assemble and load product on delivery trucks in a timely manner. Maintain accurate running inventory. Record, report, and return defective items from previous deliveries. Accept, verify, inspect, and record all incoming deliveries and shipments following company policy. Adhere to safety and quality checks to protect staff and products. Job specific requirements include capability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment using Warehouse Management System (SAP EWM), proficiency in physical activities such as lifting, bending, carrying, pushing, and pulling (max 50 lbs/25kg), preferably experience with forklifts and/or pallet jacks, possession or ability to obtain relevant licenses to operate equipment, willingness to take on other related duties, willingness to get CDL-Class A license and pass drug test, MVR, and FMCSA's Clearinghouse Registration. Must follow schedules and instructions from Foreman or Supervisor, be flexible with schedules based on customer demands, have general understanding of warehouse operations and practices, and ability to work in varying weather conditions and temperatures.
