Job Description:

Job Overview

The Area Supervisor will be responsible for adhering to procedures, quality, maintenance, safety, and schedules on assigned shifts. The individual will promote effective employee and company relations to help improve customer service and company profits.

Roles & Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Supervise the daily operations of multiple sites.

  • Develop operating budgets and control expenses within those budgets.

  • Develop safe, positive and achievement oriented working environment.

  • Respond to the customer’s questions and concerns in a timely manner.

  • Monitor ongoing work, identify problems, and find solutions.

  • Implement production plans in accordance with approved schedule.

  • Implement new policies and procedures to meet site goals.

  • Reviewing the plans of correction and approving them when necessary.

  • Interview and hire new employees.

  • Trains employees in their job duties to insure site’s smooth operation.

  • Plans, assigns, and directs work to employees.

  • Maintain employee attendance records and leave reports.

  • Perform Uniform distribution for employees.

  • Ensures each team members work in conformance with SBM policies and procedures.

  • Ensure operational excellence through training, coaching, disciplining, and encouragement of team members.

  • Develop processes for locations and individual performance evaluation.

  • Develop disciplinary and behavioral standards for the employees to maximize work efficiency.

Qualification

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform this job safely.  Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. 

Education and/ or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or relevant field.

2 years of related experience and the knowledge of the industry.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

 May be required to have a valid driver’s license.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong understanding of asset management principal.

Ability to manage operatives and sub-contractors.

Knowledge about the maintenance techniques.

Expert in various computer programs.

Excellent verbal and communication skills.

Strong attention to details.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.

Compensation: $60,000-$65,000
