In this rewarding Full-Time role, you will design, coordinate, and lead meaningful activities that enrich the lives of our residents, both in group settings and through individualized engagement. The Activities Coordinator plays a key role in fostering resident participation, promoting social connection, and supporting overall wellness. The ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, and passionate about serving seniors. Working closely with caregivers, staff, and community leadership, you will help deliver exceptional programming that enhances residents’ physical, emotional, cognitive, and social well-being while creating a vibrant and positive community experience. Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 8:30am- 5:00pm Pay: $23.50- $24.00 Main Responsibilities Develop a program that exercise body and mind for our residents Maintain contact and positive relationships with volunteers, contractors and vendors (teachers, speakers, group leaders, etc.) Create readable and compelling monthly newsletter and calendar of events Stay current of research and best practices in senior care as it relates to activities and services Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Experience in senior living activities is a requirement for this position Minimum of two years related experience (i.e. experience evaluating, planning and developing initiatives for a wellness or activities program) preferred Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends and holidays Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and other applicable software QualificationsLanguage Requirement All team members must have the basic ability to use computer/smart phone applications for training and company system purposes. Employees must also be able to comprehend written documents such as work orders, safety rules, instructions, policies, and procedures. Also required is the ability of employees to speak and communicate effectively with clients, coworkers and management.
