Portland Lil’ Kickers is looking for high-energy Assistant Coordinators / Lead Coaches who can both coach and help run the daily operations of our program. This role is designed for someone who thrives in a fast-paced soccer setting, enjoys working with children of all ages, and wants to help shape both the culture and consistency of our programs.

This is a hybrid coaching + operations role with a strong presence on the field and in daily program execution.

Please note we are not hiring seasonal employees, applicants should be local to the Portland, OR area and able to work beyond the summer season.

Role Overview

Assistant Coordinators/Lead Coaches are responsible for:

Coaching weekday morning and afternoon classes
Supporting daily program operations and communication
Helping manage free trial customers, include pre and post class phone/email communication
Assisting with coach check-ins and team development
Leading brief daily training or staff huddles
Supporting weekend programming and front desk flow when scheduled

Company Overview:

Our business provides recreational services for children as young as 18 months to 12 years old. We do this through a child development approach and a variety of activities and programming through classes, leagues, camps, and party/events.

This is not a traditional coaching-only position.

Be part of the daily leadership of a growing our Lil’ Kickers program
Help shape how players experience our program
Work closely with staff to improve coaching quality and consistency
Have a direct impact on player retention and program growth
Be trusted with both on-field coaching and off-field operations

Schedule Summary
For both our Southeast Portland and Beaverton locations, we are hiring a:

Sunday–Wednesday Lead
Wednesday–Saturday Lead

Weekday shifts: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM (with lunch break)
Weekend shift rotation (7:00 AM – 1:00 PM)
Wednesday shared leadership + weekly team meeting
