About The Position

This opportunity covers two separate periods: June 4-9 and June 26-30, 2025, requiring 24/7 coverage starting at 7 AM each day. The ideal candidate will be comfortable providing comprehensive pediatric inpatient care, handling emergency situations, and managing hospitalist duties for pediatric patients.


Job Details:

LOA: 7 days (June 4-9 and June 26-30, 2025) 

Provider Type Needed: Pediatric Hospitalist 

Schedule: 24/7 coverage, starting at 7 AM each day


Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide round-the-clock inpatient care for pediatric patients 

• Manage pediatric emergencies and critical care situations

• Conduct patient examinations, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests 

• Prescribe medications and monitor patient progress 

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care 

• Communicate effectively with patients' families about care plans and progress 

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records 

• Respond to pediatric emergency calls promptly 

• Oversee admissions, transfers, and discharges of pediatric patients


Additional Information: 

• Oregon medical license required for this position 

• Strong experience in pediatric emergency and critical care is essential 

• Comfort with working independently during 24/7 shifts is crucial
