Broadway Crossings Crisis Residential Program
The Opportunity Alliance is seeking a Crisis Clinician at our 8-bed short-term crisis stabilization unit, Broadway Crossings, located in South Portland. Broadway Crossings is a short-term residential crisis program, providing a therapeutic alternative to psychiatric hospitalization to adults experiencing a mental health or co-occurring crisis. This position works in collaboration with the program team, and access to an RN and psychiatric providers. This position is responsible for provision of comprehensive crisis assessments, treatment planning, care coordination with community supports and crisis stabilization services to our clients. The Crisis Clinician provides direct clinical services, clinical consultation with the crisis program staff and supporting community-based options for crisis care.
Schedule: Full Time, Salaried
Location: Onsite in South Portland, ME
Qualifications:
Master of Social Work or Counseling degree from an accredited graduate school required.
LCSW or LCPC preferred; with clinical conditional license required.
Minimum of 1 or more years of direct experience with Co-Occurring Disorders preferred.Ā
Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background, child protective service check & sex offender check.
Must not be on the state or federal suspension and disbarment list.
Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and TB screen.Ā
Must be able to exert moderate physical effort with occasional standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, typing and frequently lift and carry small children or material weighing up to 25 pounds.
Normal office conditions such as sitting, with occasional standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, typing and lifting up to 10 pounds.
A good driving record is required for occasional transportation of clients or driving to agency location to complete work.
