About The Position
 We are seeking a skilled Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) for a locum tenens position through Barton Associates to provide coverage at a hospital in Oregon. This 28-day assignment begins on June 30th and requires expertise in OB/GYN care, including prenatal care, natural and emergency deliveries, and routine reproductive health services. The work schedule includes 24-hour call shifts and 8-hour clinic days Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, with secondary call for weeknights and weekends. The CNM will perform various procedures such as IUD insertions and removals, pelvic exams, Pap tests, and provide birth control counseling. This opportunity offers a chance to contribute your midwifery expertise in a hospital setting with potential for extension.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide prenatal care and routine reproductive health services
• Perform natural deliveries and assist with emergency deliveries
• Conduct pelvic exams and Pap tests • Insert and remove IUDs
• Offer birth control counseling
• Manage 24-hour call shifts and clinic hours
• Collaborate with on-call physicians for complex cases
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Adhere to all hospital protocols and safety standards
Additional Information:
• Must be licensed to practice as a Certified Nurse Midwife in the state of Oregon
• Experience with Meditech EHR system preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment required
• Flexibility to adapt to hospital procedures and systems
• Comfortable with both clinic and on-call responsibilities
