 BODY SHOP TECHNICIAN NEEDED!!!!


Compensation: 

  • Pay of 40% Flat Rate commission every 2 weeks

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Provides required Body Shop repairs along with fundamental fleet maintenance repair of Hogan tractor and truck equipment, including the removal, replacement and repair of any and all components of the tractor or truck
  • Diagnoses and repairs for all damaged equipment along with fundamental maintenance repairs to tractors and trucks using well-established policies and procedures to restore equipment back to original state
  • Paints vehicles to company standards
  • Able to perform safe and meaningful welding practices to include aluminum
  • Installs and removes decals, as necessary
  • Identifies parts and/or systems for repair; repairs or replaces, as appropriate, such as radiator replacements, CAC and Condenser replacements as needed
  • Removes broken parts and replaces with new or reconditioned parts
  • Road tests vehicles to diagnose issues and ensure a safe operating vehicle
  • Raises equipment using hydraulic jacks
  • Inspects, repairs and maintains general trailer structural and suspension systems
  • Maintains accurate, updated maintenance records
  • Other duties as required

Job Requirements:  

  • Knowledge of manufacturers’ repair processes & adherence to our collision technical repair processes.
  • Ability to use frame and measuring equipment per vendor procedures.
  • Must maintain a valid state driver’s license to drive any customer or company vehicle.
  • ASE certification in body repairs.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continued learning. 
  • Pro Level training and other industry-required training.
  • Welding certificate preferred.
  • Predictable and reliable attendance required.
  • Periodic lifting and carrying objects over 50 pounds.
  • Reaching above and below shoulder level.
  • Able to push materials/parts carts and push cars (with assistance).
  • Extended periods of kneeling, bending, squatting, and stooping to complete or inspect repairs.
  • Manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination to operate equipment.
  • May be exposed to repetitive tasks involving hand and arm motion.
  • May be required to inspect vehicles outdoors in inclement weather.
  • May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, high levels of dust and noise in repair center.
  • Must be able to wear protective equipment, including respirator.
