Harbor Point Behavioral Health Center offers intensive residential treatment services within a secure setting. Our programs are designed to meet the needs of youth ages 7- 17 who are experiencing emotional, psychiatric and educational difficulties. In addition to our general psychiatric programs, we also offer specialty programs for youth with more serious challenges. Harbor Point and its programs are fully accredited by The Joint Commission and the Virginia Association of Independent Specialized Educational Facilities. We are licensed by The Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services and the Virginia Department of Education. We are a TRICARE®-approved and certified facility.

Harbor Point Behavioral Health Center currently has a Dietary Aide - Full-Time position available.

Position Scope:
Preparing and serving healthy and appealing food items as required for residents, staff, and guests.Â
Â
Essential Functions:
- Prepare patient/resident trays, salad and dessert bars; serve food to staff and patients/residents; maintain kitchen sanitation standards.
- Ensure department sanitation.
- Maintain compliance with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP).
Qualifications:
Must be able to perform a variety of duties without constant supervision. Must be reliable, with good working attitude. Aptitude should include verbal ability to express ideas and views effectively. Qualifications
Education:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
High school education or equivalent preferred or combination of education, skills and experience.

Experience:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
Minimum of two years previous institutional food service preparations preferred. Experience preferred in a healthcare setting.

Licensure/Certification:
Must possess valid Virginia Food Handlers Card
