The Opportunity: Information Security AnalystÂ
The main objective of this position is to support the Security Operations Center (SOC) as the first line of defense to identify potential information security incidents.Â
What You’ll Do: Responsibilities
- Triages and investigates incidents: Checks for new incidents generated and starts investigations. Updates and escalates incidents as necessary and closes them.Â
- Uses security product workbooks and rules to investigate anomalies. Monitors and reviews other security resources for abnormalities and investigates resolution.Â
- Performs vulnerability assessments.Â
- Reviews daily vulnerability reports and provides security updates to supervisor.Â
- Escalates potential security incidents, implements countermeasures, and recommends operational improvements.Â
- Keeps accurate incident notes in case management system.Â
- Provides analysis of the results of the monitoring solutions.Â
- Serves as a member of the Cyber Hunt team and performs advanced investigations as needed.Â
- Performs threat intelligence gathering and investigations.Â
- Actively seeks self-improvement through continuous learning.Â
- Provides shift status reporting.Â
- Performs other duties as assigned.Â

Education
High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.Â
Licenses, Certifications, and Credentials
Valid driver’s license; Transportation Worker Identification Credential; Relevant Technical certification required, such as, Security +, Network +, CSA, or other related field certifications.Â
Work Experience
One year of relevant experience required.Â
