Â
Responsibilities will include:Â Â
- Mechanical engineering project oversight Â
- Key reviewer; peer to peer and gate reviewsÂ
- Management of the specific mechanical engineering project team Â
- Create and develop work breakdown schedules to manage the engineering team to project specific goals and deadlinesÂ
- Report progress and identify strengths and weaknesses in delivery  Â
- Support the Head of Mechanical to provide insight to business strategic vision Â
- Mentor and support the development of Junior Mechanical EngineersÂ
- Compliant with all aspects of company legislative compliance, HSE and HRÂ
Â
Qualifications and Experience:Â Â
- A minimum of 10 years industry experience Â
- A minimum of 3 years experience leading a team Â
- Ability to create and review components, sub-assemblies and General Arrangements in 3D CAD. Â
- Ability to create and review 2D drawings in conjunction with BS8888 Â
- Proven experience of working in a fast paced, challenging engineering sector Â
- Proven experience of delivering complex projects Â
- Proven experience of leading a cohesive and effective team Â
- Proven experience of empowering engineers and identifying growth opportunities Â
- Detailed understanding of material properties and manufacturing processes Â

Note: Due to the nature of work undertaken at SubSea Craft, the selected candidate must be capable of meeting the security requirements of the position, which would include as a minimum existing right to live and work in the UK, Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), with UK National security clearance required for certain roles.*Â
