About the JobÂ
As the Operations Training Manager, you sit at the center of how our business scales. This is not a purely administrative role—you are responsible for building and maintaining the systems, training, and infrastructure that keep operations running smoothly across a growing, multi-state footprint.Â
Working in-person from our Portsmouth, NH headquarters and reporting to the VP of Operations, you own several high-impact areas including fleet operations, licensing and compliance, greenfield expansion support, vendor management, and the development of field training programs and SOPs. You act as a critical operator and partner to leadership—ensuring the operational backbone of the business is structured, compliant, and built to scale.Â
Think of this role as a chief-of-staff to operations: you bring order to complexity, ensure nothing falls through the cracks, and build the systems that allow teams across the organization to perform at a high level as we grow.Â

What You’ll DoÂ
- Oversee fleet operations end-to-end, including vehicle ordering, assignment, maintenance, insurance, compliance, and decommissioningÂ
- Manage fuel card programs, tolling systems, registrations, and vendor coordination for all fleet-related functionsÂ
- Own all licensing and compliance requirements across multiple states, including contractor licenses, business registrations, and tax accountsÂ
- Proactively track and manage renewals to ensure zero compliance gaps as the company enters new marketsÂ
- Support greenfield expansion efforts, including site coordination, lease execution, insurance setup, and operational readinessÂ
- Partner with Operations leadership to stand up new branch locations, ensuring supplies, systems, and infrastructure are ready at launchÂ
- Manage vendor relationships across fleet, insurance, licensing, and facilities; ensure service levels, cost control, and performance standards are metÂ
- Source and onboard new vendors as needed to support expansion and operational efficiencyÂ
- Maintain organized, audit-ready records across all operational programs and systemsÂ
- Support the VP of Operations with research, project coordination, and cross-functional initiativesÂ
- Coordinate workflows across Operations, HR, and Finance to ensure smooth execution of compliance, onboarding, and administrative processesÂ
- Own the development, organization, and maintenance of all field training programs and SOPs across service linesÂ
- Manage the company’s training library (LearnUpon, SharePoint, Teams), ensuring materials are current, accurate, and accessibleÂ
- Build and implement a train-the-trainer model to enable field leaders to deliver consistent training locallyÂ
- Develop onboarding programs, training content, and SOPs to support new service lines, MSAs, and operational initiativesÂ
- Collaborate with subject matter experts across the organization to standardize and finalize training contentÂ

What You’ll BringÂ
RequiredÂ
- 3+ years of experience in operations, business administration, or similar roleÂ
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex programs simultaneously (e.g., compliance, fleet, expansion)Â
- Strong organizational and systems-thinking mindset with high attention to detailÂ
- Experience managing vendors and holding partners accountable to timelines and deliverablesÂ
- Clear, professional communication skills across field teams and leadership levelsÂ
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Â
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, scaling environment with shifting prioritiesÂ
- Experience creating SOPs, training materials, or process documentationÂ
PreferredÂ
- Experience in restoration, construction, or field services industriesÂ
- Familiarity with licensing, compliance, or multi-state operationsÂ
- Experience with LMS platforms (LearnUpon or similar)Â
- Exposure to fleet management or operations software systemsÂ
