Reporting directly to the Site Director, the Manager, Supply Chain Planning and Logisticship oversees end-to-end Supply Chain operations, including purchasing, production planning, inventory management, and logistics. You will lead a cross-functional team while partnering with global peers to drive alignment, operational excellence, and on-time delivery. This is a position offering the opportunity to shape strategy, optimize performance, and strengthen supply chain execution at the site level.

Location: Onsite Portsmouth, NH

What you will be doing:

  • Ensure Supply Chain Purchasing and Planning complies with QMS, Finance and CGMP requirements.
  • Will own tactical functions for Supply Chain Planning, Production Planning, Inventory Management and Logistics functions. 
  • Work closely with Manufacturing Operations to Identify and resolve shortages of raw materials availability, compliance with CTQ features,
  • Lead investigations in Supplier quality problems, determines root cause, gather and analyze data and implement corrective action to reduce or eliminate cause.  Owns and executes completion of CAPA actions
  • Identify, plan and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead and own tasks as needed for New Product Introduction.
  • Lead and own tasks as needed for Change Control of Legacy Products.
  • Develop/maintain strategic technical improvement plans for planning and purchasing systems.
  • Serve as a technical liaison for all levels of the company including customers, and other sites.
  • Lead/Mentor Technical Teams in tools and strategies for planning, purchasing, raw material transport, raw material storage, FG storage and FG distribution.
  • P&L ownership of Supply Chain and Logistics business units
  • Create short-term and long-term capacity models that would meet internal and customer growth needs. Drive execution of continuous improvement and cost reduction opportunities

Skills you will need:

  • 3+ years experience in a leadership, supply chain, logistics role within an industrial manufacturing setting. Preferred experience in medical device manufacturing.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain, Logistics or Planning.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication.
  • Advanced computer skills, SAP, Power Bi and QMS
  • Advanced team management skill set.
  • Proficient in understanding and applying general planning and sourcing principles.
  • Knowledge of Change Control and Validation principles within the Medical Device Industry.
  • Proven track record of Project Management.
  • Proven track record of driving Continuous improvement.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

  • Be able to lift 25 pounds.
  • Must be capable of working for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
  • Work standing on hard surfaces, ladders, under and around equipment.
