Requirements
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
MGT + Ednetics is currently looking to fill a full-time Cybersecurity Solution Architect position for one of locations Post Falls, Kent, Portland or Boise. The Cybersecurity Solution Architect I will be responsible for acting as the primary Cybersecurity technical resource for the customer and the Ednetics Account Manager. The position is responsible for assessing customer needs and tailoring moderate-to-complex solutions to meet business needs. The Cybersecurity Solutions Architect I is well-versed in all Cybersecurity Solutions offerings and works closely with the account team to ensure the solution design is accurate throughout the sales lifecycle. In this role, you will also be responsible for leveraging deep functional and technical expertise to design solutions that solve customers’ ever-changing business and technology security needs.
In this role, your essential duties and responsibilities are:
- Originates and architects detailed design, engineering, and implementation specifications for next-generation Cybersecurity Solutions
- Build in-depth knowledge of clients' technical and business priorities, challenges and initiatives that can be translated into solution opportunities.
- Provide the Sales Team direction on Ednetics Cybersecurity product portfolio, including market requirements, and product requirements.
- Assist in the development and improvement of best practices and knowledge base products.
- Collaborate with the Sales team and customers as well with other Product Owners to assess customer needs or product fit, as well as to help identify opportunities.
- Demonstrate products, assist account managers, execute and assist in the execution of training for customers, or other events.
- Deliver quality documentation to support pre-sales efforts, including Bill of Materials, Configurations, Statement of Works, and Proposals.
- As needed, assisting the Marketing Department by attending and providing technical assistance at tradeshows, designing presentations, and speaking at Webinars.
- Regional travel at 40-50% overall is expected.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
Desired Skills and Abilities
- Basic knowledge of NetSuite with the ability to manage projects, track time, and work cases.
- Understanding of the Pre-Sales, Customer Support, and project scope creation processes.
- A strong working proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, Visio, and Excel.
Education and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solution Architect, and/or client-facing Engineer
- Active certifications are desired (Cisco, Palo Alto, CISSP).
- Superior technical skills, people skills, and a great attitude are a must.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
- Manufacturer certifications are necessary and directed by the Director of Sales Engineering.
- Experience in the following: Managed IT services including NOC support services, maintenance services, data center, cloud, data, storage, unified communication, and collaboration.
- Familiar with SLED policies and procedures.

ADVERTISED SALARY RANGE:
Base Annual Salary: $121,000 – $150,000
Sales Commission: $35,000 potential under the Sales Commission Program
