The General Manager: Visionary Leadership & Strategic Growth

As the General Manager, you are the driving force behind your pod’s success. Overseeing up to six locations, you are the chief strategist, culture creator, and business builder. By combining these six core responsibilities into four powerful pillars, your role shifts from managing tasks to leading a thriving, expanding fitness community.

1. Lead, Manage & Hold Accountable (LMA)

  • Inspire & Elevate: Lead, Manage, and hold Accountable (LMA) your entire pod—empowering AGMs, Lead Instructors, and Instructors to reach their full potential. Mentor your AGMs closely, holding them to their weekly and quarterly grassroots and community touchpoint goals.
  • Seamless Synergy: Cycle your schedule with your AGMs to guarantee a strong, daily leadership presence in the studios. Step in seamlessly to cover grassroots events when your AGM is off, ensuring the team is always supported and communication lines (Axle and info box) never go unanswered.
  • Culture Building & Recruiting: Partner with HR to recruit, hire, and onboard top-tier talent, cultivating an unstoppable team culture from a studio’s first day of presale through its grand opening and beyond.

2. Revenue & Goals

  • Mastering the Funnel: Command top-line revenue by setting, tracking, and crushing monthly targets for each location. Meticulously audit the sales funnel (Leads ? Intros ? Memberships) and collaborate with marketing to execute localized promos that close conversion gaps.
  • Trailblazing Launches: Be the tip of the spear for new studio openings. Lead presale efforts from build-out to launch day, crushing founding membership goals and ensuring the new location opens with fully trained staff and flawless brand standards.

3. Studio Facilities

  • Impeccable Spaces: Take total ownership of facility management across all your locations. Proactively manage maintenance, repairs, and vendor relationships so that every reformer and studio space meets the highest safety and aesthetic standards.
  • Operational Mastery: Conduct rigorous bi-weekly facility audits to protect brand consistency. Optimize studio schedules to ensure absolute reliability for members while maximizing business profitability and enforcing company policies with fairness and consistency.

4.  Operational Results

  • Uncompromising Quality: Maintain a vibrant in-studio presence to personally connect with members and set the gold standard for instruction. Regularly evaluate instructor performance to ensure every class delivers an exceptional, high-energy experience.
  • Fostering Lifelong Loyalty: Actively protect the community by monitoring churn and executing strategic member-save initiatives.
  • The RTR Hospitality Way: Handle all high-level member escalations with grace, empathy, and solution-driven professionalism, proving to members that their experience is your ultimate priority.

5. Schedule Consistency

  • Flawless Orchestration: Take command of our scheduling platforms (Mariana Tek and Net Gym) to ensure the studio's heartbeat—our instructor lineup and class availability—runs seamlessly and with absolute precision.
  • Leading from the Front: Fiercely protect the client experience by teaching 6 to 10 dynamic classes weekly. By stepping in when consistency and reliability are needed, you ensure our schedule never misses a beat while modeling top-tier instruction for your team.
  • Strategic Maximization: Artfully design a schedule that delivers maximum class options for ultimate member satisfaction while driving smart business growth. Your goal is to curate a buzzing, high-energy environment that consistently achieves a robust 75% class utilization rate across all studios.
