THE ROLE:

As our Mobile Equipment Service Technician, you will:

  • Travel to customers' locations and deliver professional customer service
  • Listen to customers' concerns and inspect the equipment to identify repair and maintenance needs
  • Accurately troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Perform planned maintenance, check the legibility of safety decals, and ensure safety and operator manuals are available
  • Maintain your work vehicle and stay on top of regular maintenance
  • Accurately document the work you perform and the parts you use, submitting reports in a timely manner
  • Comply with all safety protocols and company standards
  • Assist with other responsibilities as assigned

Liking what you're hearing? Here's what you need:

  • 18+ years of age
  • High school degree (or equivalent) or a technical degree in a trade like automotive
  • 3+ years of related mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic experience
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work some evenings or weekends as needed
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl throughout the shift with minimal opportunities to sit
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift/move 100+ pounds
  • Ability to work in wet, humid, cold, and hot conditions

Bonus Mobile Equipment Service Technician Criteria

  • Experience servicing automotive or industrial equipment
  • Welding, diesel, and gas engine experience
  • Independent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency with computers and electronic devices
  • Ability to accurately follow directions
  • Ability to remain cool and calm during tense situations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills for meeting deadlines
  • Professional customer service mentality
  • Positive and friendly collaborative spirit
