Banquet Supervisor

As a banquet supervisor you will meet with the Banquet Manager to discuss set up for the day, you will then set up the banquet room according to the BEO (banquet event order). Embracement and emulation of the values of the Company Culture and Guiding Principles.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and set-up the banquet room by reviewing the BEO.Â
Ensuring that the room is clean by inspecting the entire room.Â
The Banquet Supervisor is responsible for the prompt, courteous and efficient service of food and beverage to all guests during the function.Â
Acquires a working knowledge of hotel, in-house facilities, and local information to respond to guest questions in these areas as required.Â
Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations.Â
Maintains a safe and secure environment for guests and associates.Â
Maintain a clean, pleasant, and professional image to the guest.Â
 Courteously and promptly responds to guests’ requests.Â
Keeps the immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.Â
Requirements:
Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company associates to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.Â
Requests assistance as needed.Â
Requires strong attention to detail.Â
Ability to communicate to guests and team members verbally or in written form.
At all times projects a favorable image of the Hotel to the public.Â
Must have open availability work weekends and holidays.Â
Physical:

Ability to bend, lift, kneel, and be in motion for the full day.Â
Must be able to move continuously during work hours and able to lift and/or carry 50 pounds.
