We are currently seeking an Architectural Technician in our Latham and Poughkeepsie office.

Duties:

• Prepare architectural drawings and construction documents using Revit.
• Develop plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules through all phases of design.
• Coordinate drawings with structural, MEP, civil, and other engineering consultants.
• Assist with code research, building system coordination, and technical problem solving.
• Participate in client meetings, consultant coordination meetings, and site visits.
• Review shop drawings, product submittals, and RFIs under the supervision of a Project Architect or Project Manager.
• Assist with construction administration, including field observations and punch list inspections.
• Maintain project documentation, drawing revisions, and BIM standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support permit, bidding, and construction document submissions.
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver technically accurate, coordinated, and code-compliant design solutions.

• Seeking someone that has 2 to 5 years of experience working for an Architectural/Engineering Consultant.

• Must be proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture preferred.

• Should have good planning and organization skills.

• Should have the ability to work as a part of a team.

• Must be self-motivated.

• Have the ability to communicate proficiently written and verbally.

• Some travel will be required.

Salary Range: $45,000 - $64,000
