This position can be based in a hybrid capacity or out of Marshall+Sterling's Birmingham, MI; Hartland, WI; Warrenton, VA; Wellington, FL; or Poughkeepsie Office. We’re hiring an Assistant Client Service Specialist to provide exceptional service and administrative support for our Equisport team. In this role, you’ll support clients within our Equine Insurance practice and collaborate with internal teams to deliver a seamless, high-quality service experience. Deliver high-quality administrative and client service support to the Equisport team, ensuring a seamless experience for equine insurance clients. Support policy lifecycle activities including invoicing, endorsements, policy processing, and documentation management (scanning, filing, and record accuracy). Respond promptly to client and internal requests, including certificates of insurance, ID cards, proof of coverage, and loss runs. Assist with claims intake and follow-up, ensuring timely and accurate documentation in accordance with agency procedures. Maintain accuracy and attention to detail across all transactions to minimize errors and ensure compliance with agency standards and E&O risk guidelines. Collaborate effectively with Customer Service Specialists and internal teams, communicating proactively to resolve issues and support client needs. Qualifications College degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and comfort leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and accuracy. Experience with Vertafore or similar agency management systems is a plus. Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain professional relationships with colleagues, leadership, and external partners. Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
