Field Supervisor – Zoom Drain Columbus

Location: Powell, OH (Columbus area)

Position Type: Full-time

About the Role

Zoom Drain Columbus specializes in drain and sewer service (we are not general plumbers). We’re looking for an experienced Field Supervisor to lead our technicians in the field and ensure every job meets our high standards for quality, efficiency, and legendary customer service.

This is a hands-on leadership role perfect for someone with 6 or more years of direct experience installing and servicing DWV (Drain, Waste, and Vent) systems who is ready to step into a supervisory position. You will be in the field supporting your team, overseeing installs and service calls, mentoring technicians, and driving operational excellence while helping grow the Columbus location.

Key Responsibilities

•  Lead, motivate, and develop a team of drain and sewer technicians, focusing on service quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

•  Oversee daily field operations, including scheduling installs, job execution, camera inspections, hydro jetting, pipe repairs/installs, and ensuring work is completed efficiently and to code.

•  Provide hands-on support in the field when needed — lead or assist with complex installs, pull permits, and maintain high-quality standards on job sites.

•  Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor technicians; deliver ongoing coaching and feedback to build long-term team capability.

•  Uphold Zoom Drain’s reputation by delivering exceptional customer experiences and identifying opportunities for repeat business and maintenance programs.

•  Foster a positive, collaborative “Zoom Drain Family” culture through recognition, support, and continuous improvement in operations and safety.

What You Bring (Qualifications)

•  6 years of hands-on experience installing and servicing DWV systems (clog clearing, camera inspections, hydro jetting, pipe repairs, installs, etc.).

•  Previous lead or supervisory experience (formal or informal) in a field/service environment is strongly preferred.

•  Proven ability to lead installs, manage job sites from start to finish, and pull permits.

•  Strong leadership skills with a talent for motivating teams, holding people accountable, and creating a positive, high-performance culture.

•  Valid driver’s license in good standing and ability to meet the physical demands of field work.

•  Proficiency with computers and mobile technology (ServiceTitan experience is a plus; G-Suite familiarity required).

•  Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

•  Passion for the trade, customer-first mindset, and desire for long-term career growth.

What We Offer

•  Competitive base salary starting at $75,000 plus performance bonuses with real upside potential (targeted at +50% of base salary).

•  Medical benefits.

•  Paid Time Off, holidays, and paid sick days.

•  Company mobile phone & tablet.

•  Company-supplied uniforms and the best-stocked service trucks in the business.

•  Ongoing training and clear opportunities for advancement within a growing franchise network.

•  Recognition programs, company gatherings, and a supportive team culture.

If you have solid DWV installation and service experience and are ready to move into a field leadership role where you can directly impact team success and customer outcomes, we want to hear from you.
