Registered Nurse-RN Main Operating Room
10 hr Evenings
Full time, permanent position
The registered nurse is an experienced nurse who shall orient new staff, precept students, and assume relief charge nurse duty as oriented and assigned.
Must possess current acute care hospital Operating Room scrub and circulating experience within the past 5 years. Willingness and ability to be on-call on a rotational basis as scheduled and to respond within 30 minutes of call-back communication is essential.
Requirements
Requires absolute minimum of 1 year experience as a licensed RN, in the Main Operating Room
(School clinical placements do not count towards this.)
Bachelors preferred
NCLEX

CPR
ACLS preferred
ACLS preferred
NRP
A minimum of 1 year of current O.R. experience is required. Must have knowledge of hemodynamics and basic IV skills, and a thorough understanding of fetal monitoring equipment and tracings. Excellent assessment skills, above average critical thinking skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced often stressful environment and the ability to work autonomously are essential.
