Prepare and blend raw materials for ink, primer, and *adhesive formulation  Â
Formulate and tone colors for press runsÂ
Maintain press ink supply and prepare materials for upcoming jobsÂ
Manage ink inventory and related materialsÂ
Process returned inks and track solvent usageÂ
Input data into PRISM systemÂ
Handle, store, and label hazardous materialsÂ
Support press changeoversÂ
Maintain cleanliness of work areaÂ
Operate equipment including lift trucks and pallet jacksÂ
Contribute to waste reduction initiativesÂ
Other duties as assignedÂ

Education & Experience:    Â
High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferredÂ
2 years ink technician experience preferred Â

Required Skills:Â
Proficiency in color matching and blending(must pass Farnsworth-Munsell 100 Hue Color Vision Test)Â
Knowledge of PRISM, SPEC, and X-RITE systemsÂ
Strong mathematical and analytical abilitiesÂ
Excellent attention to detailÂ
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Google Apps)Â
Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)Â
Understanding of safety protocolsÂ
Strong communication skillsÂ
Time management and organizational abilitiesÂ

 Physical Demands:The associate will be exposed to the manufacturing environment where hazards and requirements may include but are not limited to:Â

May require overtime, weekends, and holidays. Â
An additional $2.50/hr premium for hours worked on NIGHT Shift only (qualifying hours vary by location). Â
