Empower Independence, Restore Confidence. As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA), you will help patients regain independence and confidence in their daily lives. Working under the guidance of a Registered OT, you’ll deliver personalized care plans, teach essential skills, and provide hands-on support, all while building meaningful connections with patients and families in their homes.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in evaluating patients’ functional abilities and home environments
- Implement treatment plans designed by the Occupational Therapist
- Teach and retrain patients in essential daily living activities
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate progress
- Collaborate with care teams and participate in case conferences
- Educate families and caregivers on treatment techniques and safety
Requirements
- Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited OT Assistant program
- Eligible for or certified by NBCOT
- Licensed as required by state regulations
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a COTA
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
