What to Expect?Ā
The Warehouse Associate supports the team and our customers by accurately and safely receiving/pulling orders in a fast-paced environment.Ā Our Backup Drivers will fill in as neededĀ makingĀ safe, complete,Ā accurateĀ and on-time deliveries to customers whileĀ complying withĀ DepartmentĀ of Transportation (DOT) and other applicable regulations.Ā
On a daily basisĀ our Warehouse Associate:Ā
Accurately pulls, fills, packs and sets up orders for delivery or pickup.Ā
AssistsĀ in loading the delivery truck.Ā
Receives shipments, logs into inventory, maintainsĀ inventory through audits.Ā
Communicates positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellowĀ workersĀ and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-up.Ā
Operates a forklift safely and efficiently,Ā maintainsĀ required certification, performs vehicle safetyĀ checksĀ and reports discrepancies to supervisor.Ā
AssistsĀ in keeping facility clean, neat,Ā safeĀ and operating efficiently.Ā
Other duties as assigned.Ā
On an as neededĀ basis ourĀ backupĀ drivers:Ā
Make deliveries using the most effective route to ensure orders are delivered on time.Ā
Load and unload the vehicle, ensuring that all products are properly secured, and hazardous material is separated appropriately.Ā
Collect payments andĀ accuratelyĀ document delivery.Ā
Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR)).Ā
Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and inform supervisor of any maintenance needed.Ā
Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and presentableĀ on a daily basis.Ā
Increase job and product knowledge on an ongoing basis.Ā
Perform other duties as assigned.āÆĀ

What You Will Need:Ā
To be at least 21 years old.Ā
A validĀ driver'sĀ licenseĀ (Commercial Driverās License,Ā CDL,Ā ifĀ applicable), preferably with HAZMAT endorsement.Ā
A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP)āÆindicatingĀ no more than 2 combined violations or at fault accidents in the past 3 years.Ā
High school diploma or GED.Ā
Ability to maneuver heavy objects, someĀ weighing up to 100 pounds.Ā
Prior forklift experience.Ā
Follow and carry out instructions with minimal supervision.Ā
Prior experience in distribution, general labor or warehousing preferred.Ā
