Job Summary and Responsibilities
As an Imaging Professional, you will be a highly specialized and essential member of our clinical team, pivotal in performing advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Every day, you will expertly execute diverse specialized imaging procedures, assisting physicians, meticulously monitoring patients, and precisely operating sophisticated equipment for critical real-time guidance and accurate diagnosis.

A steadfast commitment to patient safety advocacy is crucial. Ensuring patient safety is of utmost importance.
Â
- Checks department wheelchairs and oxygen tanks assuring they are mechanically sound; immediately reports equipment defects to supervisor.
- Ensures correct identity of patient before escorting them to the waiting room or modality.
- Assists technologist in getting the patient into the scan room and positioned on the scan table.
- Performs point of care renal function screening.
- Starts IV for IV contrast injection under the direction of the technologist.
- Scans documentation into the EMR per the technologist direction.
Job Requirements
Required
- High School Diploma/GED
- Experience performing IV starts
- Successful completion of an approved intravenous IV access training program or
- EMT - Paramedic training program
- American Heart Assocition
- Basic Life SupportÂ
- Restraint Training within 6 monthsÂ
- Safe Patient Handling program within 6 monthsÂ
- Oxygen Training program within 6 monthsÂ
- Point of Care Renal Screening Testing within 6 months
- Medical Terminology course training within 6 months
Preferred
- Electronic Medical Record Experience and
- Cerner experience
