TITLE: Delivery Inventory Specialist

REPORTING TO: Dealer Service Manager              EMPLOYMENT CLASSIFICATION: Non-exempt / hourly

 

GENERAL SUMMARY:

We are seeking a meticulous and diligent Warehouse person to join our team.  The primary responsibilities of this role include receiving incoming tire shipments, accurately stocking tires in the warehouse, and efficiently pulling tires for loading onto outgoing trucks.  The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and physical stamina to handle the demands of a fast-paced warehouse environment.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Receive incoming tire shipments, verify accuracy of orders, and inspect tires for any damages or discrepancies.

·         Organize and stock tires in designated warehouse locations according to size, type, and brand, ensuring proper rotation and accessibility.

·         Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliations.

·         Fulfill orders by accurately pulling and staging tires for outgoing shipments, adhering to specified deadlines and delivery schedules.

·         Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.

·         Operate material handling equipment,  safely and responsibly to move tires within the warehouse.

·         Assist in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, including sweeping, organizing storage areas, and disposing of packaging materials.

·         Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times, including proper handling of tires to prevent accidents or injuries.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, including tires weighing up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing inventory-related tasks.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic work environment.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to following safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with tire sizes, brands, and types is a plus.
