Overview

Manages and coordinates all daily activities of the department. Coordinates the program as a clinical affiliate of the radiologic technology program.

Qualifications

Minimum Education

  • In the absence of a bachelor’s degree, five to seven years experience is required.

Minimum Work Experience

  • Must have three years technical experience.
  • Prefer prior supervisory or teaching experience.

Required Licenses/Certifications

  • Must possess state license.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Ability to communicate effectively and document information accurately
  • Ability to deal efficiently and effectively with a wide variety of individuals
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred
  • Basic computer knowledge is preferred
  • Ability to move or lift patients and equipment
  • Ability to work independently within general guidelines
  • Ability to communicate in English, both orally and written
  • Required to comply with OSHA regulations for the N95 respirator training and fit testing
  • Within 12 months of starting position, will perform full range of CT scans.
