Application, Infrastructure & Service Management (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Princeton, NJ): Will be responsible for development and maintenance of application performance monitoring, telemetry Event Management. Will be responsible for maintaining relationships across engineering, architecture, application and infrastructure reliability and collaborating with both technical and non-technical cross-functional partners. Must be a self-motivated individual with cross functional knowledge in software development, monitoring and maintenance. Specific duties of the position include: Design, implement, and manage monitoring and alerting configurations using Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools; Collaborate with Open system, Midrange and Mainframe engineering and operations for orchestration of monitoring and event management solutions; Develop API services and SQL scripts to integrate application and infrastructure with Application Performance Monitoring tools; and Work closely with internal risk, compliance and audit teams for governance, manage hardware and software lifecycle, and respond to audit requests. Hybrid telecommuting permitted pursuant to Company policy.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, or a related technical field; and 5 years of related experience in application development, application performance monitoring, infrastructure performance monitoring, performance tuning, Event management, and/or capacity planning. Alternatively, the Employer will accept a Master’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science or a related technical field; and 3 years of related experience in application development, application performance monitoring, infrastructure performance monitoring, performance tuning, event management, and/or capacity planning.

Must have: Experience with project management tools for tracking and managing projects and resources; Proficiency in API development and programming with J2EE, JavaScript, and JSP; Database experience with JDBC and working knowledge of MySQL, MSSQL, and Oracle; Strong practical understanding of core technologies (Linux, Unix, Windows Operating Systems, Cloud technologies, PaaS) and their associated governance, lifecycle management, and delivery; Demonstrated familiarity with Multi-Cloud technologies like Azure, AWS and with virtual services such as SaaS, PaaS and IaaS; Demonstrated ability to design, develop, set-up, configure, and monitor with any application performance monitoring tool; and Demonstrated ability to analyze problem situation using any performance monitoring tool.
