Job DetailsJob Location: Little General Green Valley 7760 - Princeton, WV 24701Job Shift: EveningPosition Overview:         The Cashier Customer Service Representative offers great customer service while preparing quality food items that meet Retail Food Service Regulations. Major Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for giving all guests Little General 5-Star Customer Service. 2. Responsible for operating and maintaining a clean and safe food service area in accordance with LG, OSHA, and local Health Department guidelines in regards to food, food service areas, and food service equipment. 3. Responsible for making all menu items according to branded and/or proprietary and food safety guidelines by following recipes and builds as well as time and temperature procedures.  Responsible for recording food waste and ensuring all waste is disposed of properly; not consumed, given away, or taken home.  4. Responsible for monitoring equipment; ensuring general food service equipment and refrigeration is of safe working order and reporting any problems with equipment to the deli manager. 5. Must be in complete uniform and follow hygiene guidelines at all times as outlined by the brand and LG.  6. Responsible for following all LG handbook policies and procedures. 7. Responsible for acquiring food handler's certification as required by local health department within 30 days of employment and maintaining certification throughout your employment.    Minimum Education:                         High School diploma or GED preferred. Must be able to speak, read and write in English. Physical Demands: ·        Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry boxes and /or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds; ·        Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time (95%), Sitting (5%); ·        Ability to climb, balance, reach, grab, stoop, crawl, bend, and crouch for extended periods; ·        Ability to use close, distant, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and visual focus. ·        Ability to smell and identify odors; ·        Ability to clearly hear and interpret voice commands and telephone communications;
