About the Role

The Financial Analyst will support ANI Pharmaceutical’s Revenue team with recurring monthly/quarterly close processes and related accounting matters, balance sheet reconciliations, revenue and royalty expense reporting along with other analytical activities. The role will work closely with cross functional teams including the Generics and Brands Commercial teams by supporting them with various reporting needs, dashboard and analytics. This individual will also participate in an ERP implementation and other accounting & reporting initiatives. The role is well suited for a detail-oriented and analytical individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize multiple work streams and adapt to evolving business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as key partner to the Revenue Accounting team, supporting monthly and quarterly accounting close processes.
  • Provide reporting, data, and analytical support to the Generics and Brands Commercial teams, including recurring reporting and ad hoc business requirements.
  • Perform monthly sales reconciliations and maintain key master files.
  • Prepare revenue related accruals and related balance sheet reconciliations primarily related to Generics and Brands.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to obtain relevant supporting information for revenue reconciliations.
  • Assist with the monthly roll-forward of sales files for the Rare Disease business unit and support recurring revenue accounting activities for the international business. 
  • Assist in aggregating data from various ERP, subledger and other source systems to support accounting and business.
  • Prepare the quarterly royalty expense package along with supporting statements, ensuring timely delivery to third parties.
  • Prepare quarterly revenue cut-off analysis.
  • Support internal and external audit requests.
  • Preparation of periodic state reporting and related filings.
  • Participate in ERP implementation activities, including data validation, testing, and reporting requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Skills / Competencies

  • Comfortable working in fast paced, ever evolving business; can successfully prioritize and manage multiple competing deliverables.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across Finance, Commercial and other cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborative team player who is comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas and supporting team objectives.
  • Ability to identify and resolve day-to-day issues independently and recognize when matters should be escalated.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or progress toward preferred.
  • 2+ years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
  • Public Accounting or Big Four experience preferred.
  • Experience utilizing AI-powered productivity, analytics, or reporting tools 
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively across various levels of the organization.
  • Willingness to learn and support ERP implementation.
  • Limited travel anticipated. 

 

The base salary range for this position is $75K-$115K; the exact salary depends on various factors such as experience, skills, education, location, competencies and industry-specific knowledge. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a competitive short term and long term incentive program based on performance and company results.
