Position Summary:
The Vice President of Operations (VP of Operations) is a crucial executive role responsible for overseeing and improving the efficiency, profitability, and compliance of the organization's operations. The VP of Operations will report directly to the Executive Vice President (EVP) and collaborate closely with other senior leaders to ensure alignment with our core values of Integrity, Compassion, Advocacy, Respect, and Excellence. This position requires a dynamic leader with a strategic mindset, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a strong dedication to operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Education & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Behavioral Health, Business Administration, Social Work or related field required, Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Must be an excellent communicator and able to communicate effectively with employees, individual served, families, regulatory officials, state hospitals and the general public.
• A minimum of 5-10 years in an AFC, nursing home administrator, or manager of operations position preferred.
• Must have compassion for and a desire to work with special populations with IDD and chronic illnesses.
• Previous experience in behavioral health and human services related environments preferred.
• Must have experience overseeing multiple communities/homes.
• Experience with financial reporting and managing multiple budgets.
• Ongoing approval by Federal, State and local government entities to work at the company.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This position is primarily during normal business hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm, M-F with occasional projects requiring long hours and weekend work.

Travel:
This position requires up to 50% of time in the field and visits to each location on the assigned caseload at least once per year.
