Job Overview 

The Bus Driver is responsible for the safe and reliable transportation of children to and from school. This role ensures the safety and well-being of children while maintaining a clean, secure, and well-maintained bus environment. Additionally, the Bus Driver monitors children’s behavior, enforces adherence to safety rules, and collaborates with center staff to facilitate effective communication between families and Head Start sites.  

Qualifications 

1. Education
   1. High School Diploma or equivalent. 
   2. Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger endorsement and school bus certification.
2. Experience 
   1. Experience working with children, especially in early childhood education or Head Start, is preferred.
