Euclid, Mount Prospect, IL 60056 Reports To:    Pool Manager Supervises:     N/A Status:             Seasonal, Non-exempt    Essential Functions The deck attendant/cashier is responsible for the cash register operations & security for controlling patron entry to the pool.  Attendants/cashiers enforce all rules in the water play areas and on the pool deck.    Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for all pool admissions and checking of seasonal passes. Maintain an accurate cash register bank at the beginning & end of the shift. Keep front desk and entry areas clean, organized and clear of litter.  Assist with additional cleaning if necessary. Notify patrons of early pool closings, inclement weather, and safety and health regulations of the pool. Supervise and enforce rules in the water play areas and on deck. Regularly check the gate from the large pool into the baby pool to make sure that it closes completely and operates properly. Perform other duties assigned by the Pool Manager, Aquatics Coordinator or Recreation Supervisor. Develop a thorough understanding of the park district’s policies and operations and enforce them in a positive manner.
