Position Overview: 

Southeast Christian Church is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Campus Production Director to join our team at the Prospect Campus in Prospect, Kentucky.

The Campus Production Director is responsible for leading all aspects of production ministry at the Prospect Campus in support of weekend services, ministry events, and the overall campus mission. This role serves as the primary production leader on campus, overseeing production systems, developing volunteer teams, and partnering with ministry leaders to create distraction-free environments where people can encounter Jesus.

What you will be doing: 

  • Weekend Services & Event Production – Lead and direct all technical aspects of weekend services, rehearsals, and special events while ensuring excellence in audio, video, lighting, presentation, and stage elements. 
  • Volunteer Leadership & Development – Recruit, train, schedule, develop, and care for volunteer production team members while fostering a healthy culture of ownership, growth, and teamwork. 
  • Campus Production Systems – Oversee the operation, maintenance, documentation, and stewardship of all production systems and equipment, ensuring they remain reliable and weekend-ready. 
  • Campus Collaboration & Ministry Partnership – Build strong relationships with campus staff, worship leaders, and ministry teams while supporting ministry environments, events, and church-wide initiatives. 
  • Budget & Resource Management – Manage campus production budgets, equipment planning, purchasing, and long-term capital needs while stewarding resources responsibly.

  • Set the tone and culture of production ministry at their campus. 
  • Champion collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. 

 

Success Indicators:

A Campus Production Director is succeeding when: 

  • Weekend services are technically effective, consistent, and distraction-free. 
  • Volunteers are recruited, trained, scheduled, and supported. 
  • Production systems are reliable, documented, and maintained. 
  • Campus staff trust and value production leadership. 
  • Issues are addressed proactively rather than reactively. 
  • Production environments consistently support the mission and ministry of the campus. 


Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Strategic thinker and self-starter. 
  • Strong leadership and communication skills. 
  • Working knowledge of audio, video, lighting, AVL networking, and production systems. 
  • Strong organizational, project management, and troubleshooting abilities. 
  • Passion for developing volunteers and building healthy teams. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities. 
  • Commitment to the mission of the church and creating environments that help people connect with Jesus. 
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and special events as required. 

 

Education & Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Production Technology, Media Arts, Communications, or a related field preferred. 
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in live production, church production, broadcast production, or a related field. 
  • Experience leading volunteers, teams, or ministry environments preferred. 
  • Experience in a multi-campus church environment is a plus.
