Speech Language Pathologist - Acute care

Full Time (32hrs)

Compensation depends upon the candidate's years of experience and internal equity.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic and fast‑growing acute care team. This role is designed for a clinician who delivers exceptional patient care, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys both personal and professional growth.

The ideal candidate will have:

Extraordinary customer service skills and a patient-centered approach
A positive, flexible, and collaborative mindset
Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making abilities
The ability to work independently while staying connected and coordinated with the broader team
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in modified barium swallow studies (MBSS)
Strong background in acute care caseloads

Preferred Qualifications:

NICU experienceFEES certification

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist required.
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association or eligibility for Certification pending professional experience required.
Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment required.
