This established program serves young learners with disabilities in a nurturing, innovative, and highly individualized environment—with a maximum of just six students.

Your Impact:

As the classroom teacher, you will:

  • Lead and coordinate individualized student programs
  • Develop and monitor IEP goals and instructional plans

  • Schedule, implement, and oversee daily programming
  • Collaborate closely with behavior specialists, therapists, families, and support staff
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of student and staff documentation
  • Foster a classroom culture that supports learning, communication, and positive behavior

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Rhode Island Department of Education certification in Severe/Profound Special Education
  • At least one year of experience as a special education teacher is preferred
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with complex learning needs
