The purpose of the Sr Patient Relations Manager (Sr PRM) at Oak Street Health is to build, lead and motivate a strong Patient Relations Manager team in order to achieve success in patient growth and retention metrics. The Senior Patient Relations Manager role is an exciting advancement opportunity for those who have demonstrated mastery of the Patient Relations Manager role. A Sr PRM supports a region of a variety of clinics and is the expert on Medicare to others in the region. Success requires high levels of flexibility, energy, customer service and problem solving. Core Responsibilities include being a ‘black-belt' level expert on Medicare, insurance, and benefits; supporting staff; showcasing flexibility; providing training on service recovery and complex patient interactions; ensuring PRMs meet growth and retention targets; managing the Welcome Visit and orientation process; assisting patients with Medicare/Medicaid/Managed Care questions; serving as clinic expert on insurance topics; helping patients navigate healthcare and resolve medical bills; delivering outstanding patient experience; assisting with public benefits applications; supporting Regional Vice President in operations growth; and other duties as assigned. Required qualifications include computer skills, US work authorization; preferred qualifications include proficiency in non-English languages, 3 years manager/team leader experience, 2 years experience in Patient Relations Manager role, problem-solving orientation, experience with older adult patient population, CRM experience, and a bachelor degree or experience.
