Job Title: Creamery PM Supervisor

Job Summary:

This position supervises evening store closing functions; including stocking grocery and produce shelves, overseeing grocery operations and training grocery employees. Overseeing Restaurant operations and training grill and ice cream employees. Customer service and general cleaning.

What you'll do in this position:

  • Product stocking

    • Verify store organization and refill products

    • Assure product quality through product rotation (FIFO) first in first out procedures

    • Supervise student crew to stock shelves

  • Training and mentoring student employees

    • Verify and enforce safety training requirements

    • Implement daily training follow-up as needed

    • Provide timely and accurate feedback to employees to encourage improvement

  • Evening Grill

    • Close grill equipment for the day

    • Oversee dinner crew

    • Verify equipment cleanliness and functionality

  • Product quality and customer relations

    • Ensure customer service and trust

    • Verify quality/temperature standards

    • Inventory control

  • Office functions

    • Ordering products

    • Cash register final money count and nightly of balanced funds

What qualifies you for this role:

Required:

  • 1 Year of Experience in a Retail/Restaurant Environment

A physical exam and lift test will be conducted as a part of the hiring process for this position.

Physical Effort:

  • Moderate: – Physical effort represented by frequent handling of medium weight objects (approx. 20-50 lbs.) and materials, or use of medium weight hand tools. May require climbing and working from ladders or in awkward positions.

Environment:

  • Periodic exposure to unfavorable conditions because of unavoidable need to be in variable temperatures or wet environments, etc.

Hazards:

  • Moderate existing or potential hazards such as exposure to extreme temperatures in grill and freezer areas as well as dock and warehouse areas.

Typical Physical Efforts, Environmental Factors, and Hazards

  • Move product weighing 30-50 lbs (1-2 hours, daily)
  • Work in freezer with temps at or near -20 degrees (15 min, daily. Coat, gloves, and headgear provided)
  • Work in cooler and cold rooms with temps at or below 40 degrees (30 min, daily. Coat and gloves provided)
  • Exposure to variable weather conditions in dock area (constant, daily)

Preferred

  • 2-3 Years of Experience in the Food Industry

Pay Level: 48

Typical Starting Pay: $20.50 - $26.50 per hour, $42,500 to $55,000 per year (depending on experience)

The actual compensation offered will take into consideration internal equity and may vary based on the candidate’s job-related experience, knowledge, skills, and other relevant factors. Candidates with very significant work-related experience may receive an offer higher than the posted typical range.
