Join Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Full-Time Therapist and earn $30.26-$44.47/hour while making a lasting impact in the lives of youth overcoming the effects of trauma. As part of our New Vista Program in Provo, Utah, you'll provide trauma-informed therapy to adolescents facing complex challenges related to abuse, neglect, family separation, domestic violence, adoption-related concerns, and other adverse experiences. Working in a supportive and collaborative environment, you'll deliver meaningful treatment through both day treatment and outpatient services, helping youth address underlying trauma, develop healthy coping strategies, and build safer, more stable futures. This role also offers the opportunity to work alongside NOJOS-certified therapists providing sex-specific treatment for youth with specialized needs.

Schedule: Tuesday-Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
Compensation: $30.26–$44.47 DOE and Licensure

What You'll Do as a Therapist

  • Provide direct and indirect clinical services to individuals with behavioral health disorders and complex psychosocial needs
  • Conduct individual, family, and group psychotherapy sessions
  • Complete intake assessments, clinical interviews, and ongoing documentation
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain and manage an assigned caseload
  • Participate in discharge planning and continuity-of-care coordination
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to support client outcomes
  • Assist with permanency planning and client advocacy as needed

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in social work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Utah licensure as CSW, ACMHC, AMFT, LCSW, CMHC, or LMFT (or the ability to obtain it before starting).
  • Experience working with children preferred.
  • Solid skills in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and providing therapy.
  • Comfortable working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team.
  • Reliable with documentation and maintaining professional standards.
  • Committed to ethical practice and ongoing learning.
  • Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase

Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing.
