 Position: Full-Time, Rotational Schedule (3 Weeks On, 3 Weeks Off)

About the Role
We're looking for dependable and hardworking Kitchen Helpers to join our camp team. In this role, you'll support the Head Chef and kitchen staff by assisting with food service, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, washing dishes, stocking supplies, and helping with the daily operations that keep our kitchen running smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Assist the Head Chef and kitchen team with daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare dining and serving areas before and after meal service.
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen workstations, dining areas, and food service equipment.
- Stock and organize food, supplies, and storage areas.
- Receive, unload, and properly store food deliveries and kitchen supplies.
- Assist with basic food preparation as directed by the Head Chef.
- Properly dispose of trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a respectful, team-oriented camp environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Camp Manager.
Qualifications
- No previous kitchen experience required—we will train the right candidate.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Pre-Employment Requirements
Ability to pass:
- Pre-employment non-DOT drug screening
- Criminal background check
- Fit-for-duty medical evaluation
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift.
- Ability to safely operate commercial kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
