This is a temporary, remote, rotational position, working in Prudhoe Bay, AK. The typical schedule is 84 hours per week (40 hours straight time and a minimum of 44 hours at time and a half). The anticipated start date is May 2026 with work expected to run through late September. All meals and lodging are provided by Worley while the employee is on location. Transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is provided.

Job Purpose:聽
The GMT - Scaffold Tech performs craft level scaffold support in accordance with all safety, environmental and operational practices and policies and procedures. The GMT-Scaffold Tech performs duties under the supervision of Scaffold Lead associated with the erection and dismantling of various types of scaffold for use by other crafts.
Essential Job Functions:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Construct, erect, maintain and dismantle scaffold per OSHA, ADOSH, and client specifications.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Use multiple scaffold systems including construction grade lumber and patented pre-manufactured scaffold components.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provide coaching, mentoring in the craft of scaffolding to other crew members.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Willing to learn and develop skills in other craft areas to improve the crew鈥檚 performance.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Comply with specifications requirements in scaffolding and mechanical applications.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Performs many types of work, including but not limited to, scaffolding, light pipefitting, tank cleaning, light valve repair, Sheetmetal, insulation, and miscellaneous facility maintenance.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Examine work and materials for compliance with specifications.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Attend various technical, developmental and safety training.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Routinely performs safety and scaffolding component integrity inspections.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

Physical Demand/Work Environment:
Work is performed in a remote Arctic environment with limited medical resources. Candidate understands the site is approximately 840 miles (at least 4 hours by air ambulance) from surgical, specialist, and tertiary medical care, and where medical evacuation from this location may be significantly delayed due to weather conditions. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must have ability to stand, walk on level, uneven and slippery surfaces, sit, squat, kneel, crawl, reach through low and high ranges, work overhead, and exhibit normal balance and coordination. These basic physical requirements are essential for safe performance of the job in harsh environments with exposure to very cold temperatures and while wearing arctic gear.

Qualifications
聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 One (1) year minimum experience as a competent scaffold builder.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Valid driver鈥檚 license and the ability to be insured by Worley auto insurer.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 High school diploma or equivalent GED.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC). Worley can provide NSTC certification training, if needed.
Preferred Qualifications:聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Two (2) years scaffold experience petrochemical, oilfield, or arctic experience.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience with other crafts, such as Sheetmetal, insulation, pipefitting, and valves.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience or previous employment with Worley.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Alaska resident capable of short notice mobilization.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Class B CDL.
