What You’ll Do

  • Provide hands-on support with daily living activities: dressing, bathing, grooming, and assisting with toileting needs when necessary.
  • Help with meal planning and preparation following nutritional guidelines or prescribed diets. 
  • Assist with medication administration under physician direction.
  • Support individuals in community activities, including volunteering, employment preparation, and leisure outings.
  • Offer transportation assistance for work, therapy, and recreational activities using agency or personal vehicles.
  • Engage in fun activities like games, reading, movies, concerts, and family visits.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services and individual progress.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must have a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a background check and meet all state requirements.

The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and up to 50 pounds when assisting non-ambulatory individuals.
    • The employee must be physically able to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), including the ability to kneel, use upper-body strength to deliver chest compressions, and maintain these actions for the duration required in an emergency situation.
