About the Role:

This position is responsible for assisting manufacturing cell production on a day to day basis. Including, but not limited to, assisting with running robotic welders, saw operation, grinding, tacking, and basic assembly functions.

 

Hours & Pay 

Schedule: Monday–Thursday 2:00pm–12:00am; Overtime as needed.

Pay Range: $18.00-$21.00 per hour + $2.00 per hour shift premium

Requirements

Education and Training:

  • High School Diploma

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Computer skills
  • Read blueprints
  • Knowledge of manufacturing basics 
  • Ability to follow direction
  • Flexible and can quickly adjust to change 

Travel Requirements:

  • Minimal

Physical Requirements:

  • Be able to lift at least 25 lbs. and up to 75 lbs. for short periods
  • Sit, stand, and bend throughout the day

Safety-Sensitive Position: The General Laborer role is considered a safety-sensitive position. Employees are responsible for operating and working around manufacturing equipment, power tools, moving machinery, and material handling devices where inattentiveness or inability to safely perform assigned duties could result in injury to themselves or others. Employees must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, and must consistently demonstrate the ability to work safely, follow safety policies, and maintain situational awareness in a manufacturing environment. Safety performance is a critical component of successful job performance in this role.  


Materials and Equipment Utilized:

  • Hand and power tools (pliers, screwdrivers, drills, tape measures, etc.)
  • Cranes
  • Forklift
  • Computers, printers, etc.
  • Robotic Welders
  • PPE (safety glasses, gloves, welding helmet, steel toe shoes and ear plugs as needed)

Working Environment:

  • 100% manufacturing- low to moderate noise, safety glasses required and other personal protective equipment (PPE) where applicable.
