Hours for this job are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am until 5 pm  Starting wage range is typically $60,000 - $80,000 and varies by experience level The Precision Ag Specialist is responsible for sales and support of the Riesterer & Schnell Data Management programs and the connected machine fleets in their areas.  They ensure that quality data is coming in from equipment and help customers use that data to make economic and agronomic decisions.   Essential Functions: Assists the Integrated Solutions team on various data related projects and customer interactions Promote the use of the John Deere Operations Center as a central hub for data and JDLink as the preferred way to get the data into the Operations Center. 3.     Provide customer support and coaching for data management software from John Deere and others providers chosen by Riesterer & Schnell 4.     Ability to collect, interpret and present different layers of agronomic related data 5.     Facilitate precision training, attend company clinics, meetings and other special events and actively participate. 6.     Demonstrates effective organization and communication skills while maintaining multiple points of contact 6.     Assists customers with data cleanup and editing to ensure they have quality data 7.     Work closely with the sales team and the Product Specialist team to mainsteam demonstrations, customer experiences and internal training topics 8.     Utilize third party software programs to optimize customers data insights 9.     Promptly responds to customers in the dealership and over the phone. Routinely visits customers to build long-term business relationships 10.   Creates effective agronomic and equipment related reports as needed 11.   Review in- season data collected daily for data management customers. Identify any issues with collected data and work with customer to ensure proper documentation 12.   Understand the use of John Deere Greenstar Displays and other hardware to ensure proper documentation is taking place          13.   Support parts, service and sales departments with precision related training 14.   Present a positive, professional image through dress and conduct at all times. 15.   Maintains office, company vehicle and other assigned areas in a clean, neat and safe manner. 16.   All other duties as assigned         Qualifications1.      At least one year of previous related experience and advanced knowledge within the agricultural field 2.      Ability to operate machinery to move, diagnose and/or set up. 3.      Strong understanding of the value and impact of technology within the agricultural sector 3.      Associates or bachelors degree in agriculture related field preferred. 4.      Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with people from all levels of the organization and the general public. 5.      Ability to use a computer and current software to complete job duties required. 6.      Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 7.      Must have a valid driver's license and insurable driving history.
