Hours for this job are Monday through Friday day shift Starting wage range is $55,000 - $65,000 and varies by experience level Responsible for all aspects of the company’s used equipment inventory.  Develops and implements plans and processes that increase used equipment sales and profit margins.  Oversees incoming online leads, used trade evaluations, and reconditioning processes.  Attracts, retains, and effectively coaches department personnel. Essential Functions: Develops all possible outlets for dispersal of used inventory which includes John Deere Remarketing services, wholesale markets, internet outlets, auctions, and trades with other dealers. Develops and manages all aspects of used equipment marketing within the organization. Reports and maintains market information regarding used equipment values and trends to the R&S retail team to help aid in dealership sales training. Oversees all sales and finance programs for used equipment working with the Marketing and Finance Managers for proper execution. Owns and communicates a measurable and consistent reconditioning policy for the organization. Oversees the online leads process and manages the wholegoods inventory specialists ensuring the company is a leader in social media advertising and sales. Manages the process of used equipment evaluations to assist in selling new equipment while ensuring the profitable resale values. Manages and grows the company’s lease equipment portfolio minimizing risk on lease returns while promoting effective lease programs to the retail sales team. Creates a monthly used equipment lifecycle report to determine acceptable used inventory levels, adjust pricing and financing accordingly, and ensure equipment turn metrics are achieved. Oversees and communicates the Remarketing sales process for the entire organization. Manages monthly CLG (Customer Lead Generation) report on used equipment to load into CRM for sales lead follow up. Works with the service department to understand location work loads and move used inventory accordingly between locations to ensure timely reconditioning of used inventory. Grow dealer to dealer relationships through marketing platforms and attending industry conferences. All other duties as assigned.   Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in applicable degree program.  A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Knowledge of John Deere and competitive equipment. Ability to use a computer and current software to complete job duties required. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to communicate effectively. Must have a valid driver’s license and insurable driving history
