The Lead Marketing Data Analyst will have the opportunity to join SEL’s Global Field & Revenue Marketing Team and will support the Marketing Division in advancing measurement practices, developing scalable reporting and analytics capabilities, and delivering clear, actionable insights that guide marketing strategy and performance optimization. 

As a Lead Marketing Data Analyst, a typical day might include the following: 

  • Partnering with Marketing Program Managers to translate OKRs into measurable KPIs and develop reporting that clearly illustrates campaign performance across all marketing channels and progress toward achieving objectives. 

  • Designing and scaling intuitive Power BI dashboard suites that enable Marketing Program Managers and the Digital Marketing team to self‑serve insights and drive data‑driven optimization. 

  • Building, maintaining, and evolving Power BI dashboards and reporting suites that measure marketing performance across channels, campaigns, and funnel stages. 

  • Applying predictive analytics, regression modeling, and statistical methods to analyze marketing performance, uncover trends, and support data‑driven decision‑making. 

  • Creating clear, compelling data visualizations, and translating complex analyses into actionable insights that support marketing strategy. 

  • Conducting attribution modeling and customer journey analysis to assess campaign effectiveness. 

  • Creating and improving methods to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across systems.

  • Collaborating with data owners across the Marketing division to define functional specifications for system improvements. 

This job might be for you if you have: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Math or a related discipline. 

  • 5+ years of related experience. 

  • A deep understanding of marketing performance metrics, funnel analytics, attribution, and predictive insight generation 

  • Experience integrating data from CRM, marketing automation, digital marketing, and analytics systems (e.g., Google Ads and Analytics, paid social media) and partnering with Information Systems partners to map, transform, and standardize that data for reporting. 

  • High proficiency in data preparation, analysis, and reporting, with strong attention to data quality and accuracy. 

  • Advanced Power BI (DAX, data modeling, Power Query) and SQL skills for building and optimizing reporting datasets. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain scientific/technical information clearly to diverse audiences.  

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.  

  • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities. 

  • Background check results satisfactory to SEL. 

  • Negative drug test result(s). 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Math or a related discipline.

Pay Range Data 

We anticipate filling this position as a Lead Data Analyst $97,700 – $144,400. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
