The Role

We're looking for a hands-on Plant Care Technician to join our cultivation crew. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day care of our plants - from early veg through harvest - helping us maintain the quality standards Phat Panda is known for. This is active, physical work in a fast-paced indoor grow facility, not a desk job.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Pruning, training, and tucking plants for healthy structure and yield
Caring for plants through each growth phase - vegetative, flowering, and harvest
Mixing and applying nutrient solutions and other inputs
Keeping grow rooms and equipment clean and audit-ready
Assisting with room setup and environmental control adjustments
Supporting harvest days and post-harvest processing
Contributing to R&D trials aimed at improving plant genetics and technique
Pitching in wherever the cultivation team needs an extra hand

What We're Looking For

Age Requirement: Must be 21 years or older
Education: High school diploma or GED required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Cultivation, horticulture, or agriculture experience is a bonus, not a requirement - we'll train motivated candidates who are eager to learn

Physical Requirements

Able to stand or sit for up to 8-hour shifts
Comfortable with repetitive hand tasks (pruning, trimming)
Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Occasional crouching, climbing, or crawling
Good color vision and visual acuity required

Working Conditions

This role is based in a controlled indoor cultivation environment, which includes:

Bright grow lights and warm, humid air
Moderate background noise
Occasional dust, vapor, or airborne particulates (PPE supplied)
Use of ladders and work in confined spaces at times
Some contact with cleaning products and fertilizers
