Pay Range:

The base pay range for this position is

$28.47-$44.61 Hourly

however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Position Overview:

The Revenue Cycle Analyst is responsible for analyzing, monitoring, and driving improvement across all aspects of the revenue cycle to enhance financial performance and reduce revenue leakage. This role identifies trends, quantifies financial impact, and partners with operational teams to implement and sustain improvements. The analyst serves as a key resource in aligning data insights with operational execution to improve reimbursement, reduce denials, and ensure processes are audit defensible.

A Day in the Life:

Revenue Cycle Analytics & Reporting

  • Analyze revenue cycle data including billing, collections, denials, and reimbursement trends
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and scorecards to support operational and leadership decision-making
  • Monitor and drive improvement in key performance indicators (KPIs) such as denial rates, days in A/R, clean claim rate, and point-of-service collections
  • Present findings and actionable recommendations to leadership and operational teams

Revenue Integrity

  • Identify root causes of denials and payment variances
  • Track and trend payer-specific issues and reimbursement patterns
  • Quantify financial impact of revenue leakage and missed reimbursement opportunities
  • Develop and support denial reduction initiatives in collaboration with operational teams

Process Improvement & Operational Support

  • Partner with Patient Access, Coding, Billing, and Compliance teams to implement workflow improvements
  • Translate data insights into actionable operational changes
  • Support prioritization of revenue cycle initiatives based on financial impact
  • Monitor pre and post implementation performance to ensure effectiveness
  • Track and report realized financial improvement from implemented initiatives

About You!

This Job is For You if You Have:

  • Strong understanding of revenue cycle processes (Patient Access, Coding, Billing, A/R)
  • Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and payer requirements
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
  • Experience with EHR systems (e.g., Epic) and reporting tools
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

A Wow if You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5 years of experience in revenue cycle, healthcare finance, or data analysis
